Chelsea

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Chelsea, based in Geelong, is a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with a background in Psychology.

After exploring various roles in the field and taking a break to raise her children, she found a passion in Behaviour Support. Chelsea loves seeing the first signs of positive change in her clients and enjoys making the support process smoother for families.

Outside of work, Chelsea is enthusiastic about a wide range of hobbies, including painting, craft, sewing, and gardening. She also has a keen interest in child development and neurodiversity.
Her approach focuses on creating environments that people do well in.

Her passion for building neuro-affirming environments is influenced by her own neuro-divergent family, giving her a deep understanding of the unique challenges and beauty of every brain.

Julie
Business Manager

As the Business Manager at Ubuntu Behaviour Support, I

oversee all aspects of the organisation outside of practice.

My role is dynamic and multifaceted, allowing me to engage with families, support networks, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of ethical and effective services.

What I find most rewarding is the opportunity to blend my professional and personal experiences to make a meaningful impact. With a background in the disability sector that spans both pre- and post-NDIS implementation, I bring a deep understanding of the system and a strong commitment to supporting our participants and community.

At the heart of Ubuntu’s success is our passionate and dedicated team. Together, we strive to create smooth operations and a supportive environment for both practitioners and clients. I’m proud to contribute to a workplace where lived experience is valued and where collaboration drives positive outcomes.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me in the water—swimming (or at least not drowning!) in any warm pool or ocean I can find without crocs.
